Tuna Pasta with Korean Hot Sauce by MAMA HALLA

Spaghetti/fusilli (1 portion)

Olive oil (1 TBSP)

Tinned tuna (70g)

Onion (medium: 1/4)

Red pepper (1/4)

Garlic (1 clove)

Chopped tomato (200g)

Tomato Puree (½ TBSP)

Korean Hot Sauce (1 TBSP)

Mixed Italian herbs (1 tsp)

Salt and pepper (generous pinch)

Extra virgin olive oil (1 TBSP)

Sut i wneud

  1. Finely chop onion and garlic. 

  2. Heat olive oil in pan and fry onions until lightly golden. 

  3. Add garlic and fry for 30 sec.

  4. Add tuna, red pepper, chopped tomato, tomato puree, mixed herbs, salt, and pepper, and cook for 20 min. (Add a little bit of water if it gets too dry.) 

  5. Meanwhile, cook fusilli/spaghetti to boiling water, and set aside. 

  6. Turn off the heat, mix in cooked fusilli/spaghetti and Korean hot sauce.

  7. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and parmesan cheese to serve.
